ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

⚠ Permanent Action

Delete Your SecureVault Account

Everything you need to know before permanently deleting your SecureVault account.

Before you continue

Deletion is final.

Once your account is removed, access to secure cloud backup recovery services and account-based support tools will be unavailable.

  • Cloud backup services will be terminated
  • Recovery keys and backup access will be lost
  • Subscriptions must be canceled separately

BEFORE YOU DELETE

Please review these important consequences.

Cloud backups are permanently removed

Your encrypted cloud backups will be deleted from SecureVault services and cannot be recovered after the account is removed.

Recovery keys are permanently deleted

The encryption keys needed to recover encrypted backups will be removed from SecureVault systems, making restoration impossible.

Subscription cancellation is separate

Your subscription is managed through Google Play and should be canceled separately if you no longer wish to be billed.

This action cannot be undone

Once deletion is confirmed, your account and related backup data will be removed according to SecureVault’s retention practices.

WHAT GETS DELETED

This is what will be removed with your account.

Removed with your account

  • SecureVault account
  • Cloud backup metadata
  • Encrypted cloud files
  • Account profile
  • Authentication data used by SecureVault

Important reminder

Downloaded local files that still exist on your device are not removed automatically by account deletion. These should be managed manually if you want them deleted or preserved elsewhere.

WHAT IS NOT DELETED AUTOMATICALLY

A few items require separate action.

Google Play subscription

Cancel your plan in Google Play if you no longer wish to be billed. SecureVault cannot cancel subscriptions for you.

Downloaded local files on your device

If you still have copies of your files on your phone or computer, you will need to remove them yourself.

Google account

Deleting your SecureVault account does not delete your Google account. Those services remain under your separate account settings.
