01
Introduction
SecureVault is designed to give you a private place for the photos, videos, and documents that matter to you. This policy explains what information we use, why we use it, and the choices you have.
We believe privacy language should be easy to understand. If anything here is unclear, you can always contact us for help.
02
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve SecureVault. This may include your email address when you create an account, purchase information supplied by the app store, and limited device information used to keep the app secure and reliable.
We do not inspect, sell, or use the contents of your encrypted vault for advertising.
03
Authentication
Your PIN and biometric authentication help ensure that only you can open SecureVault on your device. Biometric data is handled by your device’s operating system; SecureVault does not receive or store your fingerprint or face data.
04
Local Encryption
Files added to your vault are encrypted locally on your device before they are stored. Your private content is protected within the app, so it remains separate from your everyday gallery and file storage.
05
Cloud Backup
Premium cloud backup is optional. When enabled, your protected files are encrypted before transfer and stored to support restoration on another device. You can control backup and sync settings from within the app.
06
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand app performance, diagnose crashes, and improve features. These reports are designed to focus on product usage and technical health, not the contents of your vault.
07
Permissions
SecureVault requests permissions only when a feature needs them. Storage or media access lets you add files to your vault, camera access lets you capture protected content, and notifications may keep you informed about backup status. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.
08
Data Retention
We retain account information only for as long as needed to provide SecureVault, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You remain in control of the files in your local vault and any optional backup you create.
09
Delete Account
You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud-backup information by contacting us. Before deleting an account, make sure you have restored or exported any files you want to keep. Account deletion may remove access to premium backup and recovery services.
